Job Summary:

CSRS Dallas is actively seeking candidates with the ability to lead its clients, in the education industry, through the development process by providing expertise in architecture, planning, permitting, scheduling and construction. Candidates are expected to regularly communicate, and ultimately bridge the gap, between city entities and the client’s design team, development managers and construction teams to deliver projects on time, within standards and with the highest level of satisfaction.


Summary of Essential Job Function:

· Administer design with understanding & acknowledgement of zoning ordinances, building codes, and accessibility codes

· Travel periodically to various sites, conduct site assessments and meet with city officials

· Manage Client relationships

· Oversee production of Construction Documents and lead a project team through quality assurance and quality control

· Deliver projects in alignment with our Client’s professional and technical standards

· Work autonomously, as well as participate in a highly collaborative team environment

· Establish deadlines and complete projects in a timely manner

· Maintain a high level of performance in a fast-paced environment, adapting to and overcoming changing priorities and deadlines

· Exhibit exceptional standards for quality and a strong attention to detail

· Balance architectural project management for multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting, and exceeding, the expectations of the Client



· Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited College or University

· Minimum 6 years of experience, with a 3 year background in the education market

· Registered Architect (preferred but not required)

· Experience in construction document production, permit acquisition, construction administration

· Required thorough working knowledge of Autodesk (Revit and AutoCAD), Adobe (Photoshop and InDesign), Bluebeam and all Microsoft Office platforms

· Excellent verbal and written communications skills

· Strong leadership, client management and project coordination abilities

· Ability to cultivate relationships, both inside and out of the office

· Professional drive, passion and self-direction
