Since 1978, BKV Group has grown from a sole proprietorship into a diverse partnership with practice sites in Dallas, Minneapolis, Chicago and Washington DC, serving clients locally and nationwide. The Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe purchased this property, hired Graves Hospitality to provide management, and together, they rebranded the Crowne Plaza Hotel into an Intercontinental Hotel and turned to BKV Group to provide a new look. The Shay, a significant, high-profile project comprised of two buildings, is a 245-unit apartment community designed for modern, vibrant living in Shaw - Washington, D.C.’s most exciting neighborhood. These mixed-use buildings feature ample retail spaces along the streets to further activate the urban activity.

Multi-Family Residential

240 Park Avenue is new construction of a 17-story mixed-use, retail and multifamily market-rate housing residential development, with a building footprint of approximately 30,000 SF, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota; including belowgrade parking, landscape amenities and site improvements. The 204-unit mixed-use building has an impactful urban presence with an especially strong focus on the pedestrian experience. Garden Communities & BKV Group
Titled “The Vertical Sustainable City,” the skyscraper concept is an expression of the opportunities and constraints urbanistic contexts present to architects. Juxtaposing the idea of a sprawling, urban development, the vertical shape of the tower is a direct response to minimizing the structure’s footprint.
BKV Group’s inaugural project with developer partner, Legacy Partners, positions a 16-story, residential building within Houston’s upscale Galleria District. Bristol Cove aligns with the Galleria District’s high-end, luxurious clientele, appealing both in size, scale, and available amenities, in addition to being closely located to downtown Houston and surrounded by bustling retail areas, office towers, hotels, and private health clubs. Eddy’s Lake Mille Lacs Resort is a fishing destination resort on the shore of Lake Mille Lacs, just north of Onamia, Minnesota.  The Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe and BKV Group created a world-class destination resort and restaurant on the lake by constructing a new hotel and restaurant building complimented by contemporary landscaping. The Penfield is an exciting new mixed-use project located in the heart of downtown Saint Paul.  The Penfield design preserved the historic structure’s south and west exterior façades and incorporated them into the new development.
The Penfield is a six-story building with 254 market-rate apartments, a one-story 30,000 sf Lund’s grocery store on the first floor, and approximately 330 enclosed parking spaces.  The Penfield provides luxurious amenities and community spaces such as a concierge, a lap pool, a sundeck/green roof, a business center, a club room, a fitness center, and a sky lounge.
