Submittals are an integral part of the quality control function in ensuring that the building is constructed in accordance with the construction documents. This class will describe the various types of submittals often specified, why each is important, and how this requirement serves an important function in bridging between drawings, specification, and what the Contractor actually builds.

- Be able to list what to look for when reviewing submittals
- Describe what not to do with submittals
- Discuss how the Contractor uses submittals in the field quality control program
