Ceramic and stone tile are fabricated to a variety of sizes, shapes, and thicknesses. Getting the best performance out of each is important and is relative to the choices made for materials and methods of installation. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the various setting materials and methods and when to use each.
- Understand the various grout materials and when to use each relative to the intended application and use.
- Learn when wall installations can be done with adhered materials vs mechanical anchors.
- Understand when to use thin vs thick set materials.
