Talk About It
The Building Enclosure Council (BEC) is a network of affiliated architects, engineers, contractors, manufacturers and others located in major cities across the United States. The Dallas BEC was formed to address durability, design and the unique air, moisture and thermal performance challenges of building enclosures in Texas.
This course will examine the various types of metal roofing applications for different slopes, and compare and contrast various forms of wall panels. Additionally, this course will cover various natural materials involved in metal roof and wall panel construction.
PRESENTER: Nick Powell of ARS Metal Supply
Nick Powell is the General Manager of ARS Metal Supply and the Oklahoma and Texas Territory Manager for Isaiah Industries, a manufacturer of specialty metal roofing systems. Nick is focused on being a valuable resource to all building professionals by providing on-time materials as well as training and support to further levels of success. His experience as a Contractor, Coach, and Missionary taught him the value of quality products, the importance of a unified team, and that all people have something valuable to offer. Nick has been outstanding in generating leads from tradeshows and has established multiple new clients for ARS. Developing strong relationships is the foundation of everything he does, both professionally and personally. Besides solving problems for clients, Nick loves football along with family time and anything on or behind a boat. He claims he has even been pulled by a horse while water skiing along the shores of Alaska.
