Calling the Younger Generation!

Call for Entries for Artworks and Scholarship Applications Available...

An important part of the mission of the Dallas Center for Architecture Foundation is encouraging the next generation of architects and architecture aficionados. Two programs to support that mission are currently underway:  The Art of Architecture submissions and scholarship applications are due NEXT FRIDAY, March 28.

The Art of Architecture competition encourages students to study the visual aspects of architecture and express their observations creatively.

The Art of Architecture, a juried competition and exhibition organized by the Dallas Center for Architecture and AIA Dallas, invites middle school and high school students to submit their artworks in a variety of media.  The only rule is that it must depict architecture in some manner. Entries are due March 28.

Prizes are given in a variety of categories and the winning artworks will be displayed at the Dallas Center for Architecture from April 4-May 2. For more details, click here.
