Johnston Marklee’s body of work cultivates the unique relationships and connections between design and building technology. No more evident is this than through their body of work that is highly diverse and reverent of the unique set of circumstances and conditions each may encounter. As such, the office has worked through various scales, from master planning down to installation projects. Their work and accomplishments have been recognized globally through award and publication. Most recently the firm was awarded the commission for the Menil Drawing Institute, the first new building to be added to the Menil Collection Campus in Houston, Texas.
