Sr. Client Manager

A Sr. Client Managers responsibility is to manage the client teams, and client projects to assure client satisfaction and firm profitability. The Sr. Client Manager is a “Working” manager that uses CAD and provides team production support as required. The Sr. Client Manager is a member of the architectural staff who reports to a GHA Partner responsible for their clients. The Sr. Client Manager is on the career path to become a Partner within GHA.

Responsibilities

Coordination of Client Team
• Task assignment to teams
• Problem solving abilities
• Ability to recruit, train and develop employees
• Updating team on project related events
• Coordination and updating of project schedules
• Review and approve client team timesheets
• Conduct quarterly employee performance reviews
Project Management
• Ability to budget man-hours
• Client Team organization capabilities
• Knowledge of construction technology and building methods
• Knowledge of design criteria of client projects
• Consultant coordination, aware of consultant responsibility and consultant management
• Produce project proposals to clients
• Responsible to give oral presentations to clients and employees
• Responsible for invoice review and approvals
• Manage forecasting of client revenues
Customer Satisfaction
• Communicate and build relationship with clients
• Client’s primary point of communication
• Understand, anticipate, and successfully respond to client needs
• Produce quality work which exceeds the client’s expectations
• Responsible for Client program schedules and budgets
Business Development, Operations and Activities
• Be responsible for team revenues of $1 million to $1.5 million in developing new and/or maintaining existing client business
• Responsible for presentation packages, along with the creation and completion of drawings for Bid, Permit and Final Construction documents.
• Maintain contact/coordinating with consultants, to build a coordinated set of CD’s.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in restaurants or similar industry
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD required
• Excellent knowledge of Revit preferred
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of construction technology and building methods
• High energy
• Clear goal orientation
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Unquestioned reputation for honesty and integrity
• Confident and able to work collaboratively with others
• Ability to positively represent the firm
• Keep current on “State of the Art” in their design specialty through review of periodicals and continuing education
• Be creative and enthusiastic toward all design challenges
• Have the desire to learn and grow within the field and the firm.
