Project Architect

We are seeking a licensed Project Architect with 5+ years of experience to support our growing studios, overseeing projects of various scope and size. We look to this position to manage all phases of the project process while effectively leading and collaborating with project coordinators to ensure th+a’s core tenants manifest themselves in our designs. The person who assumes this role will provide leadership in our community, our profession and our firm. We expect our Project Architect to create outstanding design solutions, develop strong relationships with clients and actively mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

•Effectively lead, utilize and direct project coordinators while ensuring that quality standards are met throughout the project
•Assist in establishing project timelines, budget, permitting process and completing designated scope of work within allotted time and budget
•Assist with proposal preparation, responding to RFIs, bidding (including contractor qualifications), bid document preparation, bid evaluation and contract negotiation
•Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients and consultants

Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited college (Master of Architecture preferred); Licensure required
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading and managing projects
•Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Adobe Creative Suite
•Knowledge of rendering software
•Solution-oriented and self-motivated
•Occasional travel required
