Director of Marketing and Business Development

The Director of Marketing & Business Development will serve Architexas in business development, marketing, pursuit and communications efforts. This position will collaborate directly with leadership to establish the firm’s strategic direction on key marketing and business development initiatives, ensure brand consistency, and develop/maintain good processes and systems that will contribute to the firm’s success.

Responsibilities

• Lead and Direct all project pursuit opportunities; working in tandem with leadership to craft strategic pursuit plans for each project.
• Production of RFQ/P’s
• Interview Preparation and Presentation Strategy
• Build relationships with and effectively coordinate with consultants in order to build appropriate project teams for each pursuit
• Build new relationships with target clients throughout Texas
• Lead, develop and coach staff in Business Development and personal professional development growth
• Trade Show Planning and Execution
• Develop annual Marketing & Business Development Plan aligning goals with the strategic goals of the firm
• Manage and track Marketing and Business Development Budget
• Management of Architexas’ platforms including website and all social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter)
• Management and creation of all Marketing Collateral (project profiles, resumes, brochures, Award Submittals, Client Surveys, Promotional Items, etc.)
• Facilitate internal Project Performance Evaluation Meetings
• Represent Architexas through personal leadership, membership in professional organizations and industry events
• Event Planning
• Continually identify and implement ways to improve existing systems in order to improve overall marketing and business development at Architexas

Qualifications

• Results-driven leader with the ability to motivate a team, produce high quality work and consistently drive improvement
• 1 to 5 years of experience in the AEC Industry with an established industry network
• Strong organizational and communication skills (written and oral)
• Ability to wear many hats and meet several deadlines simultaneously
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft office 365
• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
