MISSION:

The AIA Dallas Small Firm Roundtable focuses on the needs of small firms. It seeks to integrate the existing benefits and services offered by the AIA with small firms in the Dallas area. Our goals are to further their special and unique needs and act as a central body to facilitate growth, understanding, and knowledge.

PROGRAM:

If the architecture of the 20th C was defined as “form following function”, that of the 21st C will be similarly defined as “form following performance” and will surely be dependent upon the emergence of radically new materials and methods of assembly—

Based on information gathered by his students in his seminar at the UT Arlington School of Architeture, Don Gatzke will give an overview of new material research likely to impact architecture in the next several decades.

PRESENTER:  Don Gatzke, AIA
