SFRT North: Gate Precast Plant Tour

AIA Dallas Small Firms Roundtable will tour the Gate Precast manufacturing plant to become more familiar with the process of creating the panels, connection types, safety concerns, and design options.

Learning Objective 1:
Attendees will be able to provide all of the specifications required for a successful fabrication, such as size, color range, and mold pattern.

Learning Objective 2:
Attendees will be able to select the preferred connection type for the structural elements carrying the panels, whether steel, concrete , precast structure or other.

Learning Objective 3:
Attendees will be able to consider what is needed to create a structurally sound building.

Learning Objective 4:
Attendees will be able to describe the color range and textures available to achieve a design that best fits the use of the building and the needs/comfort of the building users.
