As a Senior Associate at BRW Architects, Chris leads a diverse range of projects types and scales while maintaining an emphasis on thoughtful design. After receiving a Master of Architecture degree from Texas A&M University in 2002, he began designing community-based projects including schools, fire stations, recreation, and nature centers.
Chris’ passion for design fuels his drive to deliver high quality public projects. His ability to balance creative thinking with pragmatic design solutions serves both clients and end-users well. He believes that identifying the distinctive but intangible quality surrounding a place is critical to improving the built environment.
Chris is currently serving as the 2014 chair for the Young Architects Forum.
He is married to Emilie Sano and they have two young sons, Maxwell and Samuel.
